Congressman Etheridge: Who Do You Stand With?

We now know who President Obama has chosen to sue Arizona – a lawyer who defended Guantanamo terrorists.  That’s right — Justice Department lawyer Tony West will lead Obama’s lawsuit to overturn Arizona’s law against illegal immigration.

As a defense attorney, West’s ‘claim to fame’ was cutting a plea bargain for John Walker Lindh, an American traitor fighting for the Taliban who was captured in Afghanistan.

So here’s the bottom line: Illegal aliens are murdering people in Arizona, and Phoenix is second in the world for kidnapping behind Mexico City. That’s why Arizona is desperately trying to stop illegal immigration. But instead of controlling the border, President Obama has a lawyer who represented a Taliban terrorist suing Arizona.

On Wednesday, I challenged Congressman Etheridge to cut off the money for Obama’s lawsuit against Arizona. The issue is even clearer today. Congressman Etheridge, are you going to stand with Arizona or the defense lawyer for terrorists who is suing Arizona?
