Concerned Women PAC Endorses Ellmers

DUNN, NC- Concerned Women PAC, the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, announced today their endorsement of Renee Ellmers for Congress in North Carolina’s Second District.

The grassroots organization, which represents more than 500,000 women across the U.S., praised Ellmers’ commitment to repealing President Obama’s health care legislation, as well as her support of pro-life principles.

“As a pro-life, pro-family nurse and clinic director, Renee is uniquely qualified to lend her voice and her leadership to the ongoing health care battle raging in Congress,” CEO of Concerned Women PAC Penny Nance said.

Concerned Women PAC notes that seven-term incumbent Congressman Etheridge has voted with their organization’s position only 40 percent during his career. They are especially wary of his recent votes on the takeover of the
American health care and financial systems.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Concerned Women PAC,” Ellmers said. “As a nurse, I share their concerns about the devastating effects caused by Obamacare. I am running to change Congress and am happy to have the support of the more than 500,000 members of Concerned Women PAC.”
